The 2022 National Futsal Premier League Playoffs begin this weekend! Our quarterfinal round has futsal fans excited for a Saturday night triple header! Our playoff format means that every point during the regular season counts: Grand Rapids OLé finished the season in 1st-place and get a first-round bye in the Playoffs.
Everybody else fought for seeding in the Quarterfinals. It is single-elimination: Win Or Go Home. Get all the details on these matchups here.
COLUMBUS FUTSAL (H) VS. Ginga FS (A)
The Battle For Ohio: Part III
4th-placed Columbus Futsal host 5th-placed Ginga FS in a battle for supremacy over Ohio. Columbus Futsal won the regular season bouts, after tying in Cincinnati 8-8 in Matchweek 8 before taking a 7-4 win at home in Matchweek 9.
Who will come out on top in this do or die matchup? The winner gets the opportunity to take on Grand Rapids on the road in the Semifinals.

Joy Athletic (H) vs. Cadence SFC (A)
2nd-place Joy Athletic will welcome 7th-place Cadence SFC to Minnesota in the NFPL Quarterfinals. Joy Athletic won both meetings during the regular season, with a hard-fought 7-6 victory over Cadence on the road in Matchweek 9 and a 10-3 win at home in Matchweek 12.
Joy Athletic are one of the league's best teams and haven't lost in 10 games, while Cadence SFC struggled to find their footing, especially on the road. If they can travel with a big bench, they stand a chance to make a major upset in Minnesota.

Futsal Factory Academy (H) VS. Futsal Indy (A)
Futsal Indy will head up to Michigan to take on Futsal Factory Academy in our third Quarterfinal matchup. The two teams split their matches this season, with Futsal Factory winning in Matchweek 8 in a nail-biting 6-5 win with two last-minute goals. Futsal Indy took the most recent victory at home in Matchweek 11, an 8-1 stomping over the visitors.
With the season on the line, who will come out on top in Michigan? It will come down to how well each team's stars can perform when the pressure is on, as well as how each team's depth on the bench looks.
