JANUARY 2023 Women's GOAL OF THE MONTH NOMINATIONS
An impressive group of Goal of the Month contenders here from around the NFPL women's division! Enjoy.
1. Mia Quintana VS. Futsal Factory Academy
It's possible that Mia Quintana would have won the Player of the Week and been part of the Team of the Month, but surely this full-field goal sealed the deal for the Grand Rapids OLé goalkeeper.
2. Niomi Grimaldo vs. Columbus Futsal
This fantastic strike from Niomi Grimaldo lengthened the Futsal Factory Academy lead in their match against Columbus. From the moment she received the ball, Grimaldo looked like she knew what she was going to do with this one: bury it in the back of the net.
3. Audrey Gibson-Zweifel VS. Futsal Factory Academy
Not one, but two goals from goalkeepers in this month's nominations! This time it's Audrey Gibson-Zweifel playing and excelling in the fifth attacker role, smashing a corner kick delivery into the top corner for Columbus Futsal.
4. Haley Dehaan VS. Futsal Factory Academy
A great team goal and counterattack summed up a brilliant performance from the Grand Rapids OLé women, with Haley Dehaan getting on the end of this lovely passing move from box to the other.
