Round 2 of the 2022 NFPL Playoffs is this weekend: The Semifinals! Saturday, April 23rd provides us two great games of futsal to decide who heads to the Championship game. Get all the details here.
Grand Rapids OLé (h) vs. COLUMBUS FUTSAL (A)
A trip to Grand Rapids looms for Columbus Futsal after their Quarterfinal win over Ginga FS this past weekend. Only one team has beaten Grand Rapids OLé this season, and it wasn't Columbus. The last time the two teams met was in Matchweek 8, resulting in a narrow 4-2 win for Grand Rapids in Columbus.
Prior to that, Columbus visited Grand Rapids in Matchweek 4 and were pummeled 15-3. A lot has changed for this Columbus team over the course of the season, but they'll have to be at their very best to beat Grand Rapids in front of their home court and move on to the Championship game.

Joy Athletic (H) VS. Futsal Indy (A)
Similar to Grand Rapids OLé, there are few teams that have posed a threat to Joy Athletic this season. They are the league's hottest team, winning 9 games in a row and ending the regular season just behind OLé. They welcome a Futsal Indy side that is playing some of their best futsal at the right time.
In two matchups in Matchweek 9 and Matchweek 14 (just a few weeks ago), Futsal Indy were never really able to keep the game close against Joy Athletic. Futsal Indy claim one of the older, more experienced squads in the league, while Joy Athletic have a great group of young, hungry, tricky players on the court. With the season on the line, this should be a great game.
