The Standard in the Midwest | 2025/26 Midwest All-Conference Team Announced
The Midwest Division produced some of the league’s strongest performances throughout the 2025/26 NFPL season.
From dominant defensive displays to high-scoring attacking performances and dramatic playoff pushes, the division featured no shortage of quality across the campaign.
At the center of it all stood Futsal Factory Academy, whose remarkable season saw them finish the regular season unbeaten and establish themselves as one of the most complete teams in the league. But alongside them, players from Inter Detroit and Capital Futsal delivered standout individual campaigns worthy of recognition.
Here is the official 2025/26 NFPL Midwest All-Conference Team.
Goalkeeper
Robert Franzese-Damron — Futsal Factory Academy
The anchor behind the league’s best defense — and now officially the league’s best goalkeeper.
Franzese-Damron captured the 2025/26 NFPL Golden Glove after leading FFA to one of the strongest defensive seasons in league history. FFA conceded just 25 goals during the regular season, and his leadership, organization, and shot-stopping ability consistently gave his side an edge.
Vocal, composed, and experienced, he remained the foundation of an FFA team that dominated the Midwest from start to finish.
Fixo
Samy Omar — Capital Futsal
One of the division’s most important all-around players.
Across 7 matches, Omar recorded 3 goals and 5 assists while serving as a key connector for Capital Futsal in both possession and transition. His composure on the ball, defensive work rate, and ability to dictate tempo made him one of the Midwest’s most reliable performers throughout the season.
Ala
Thomas Dono — Futsal Factory Academy
One of the league’s elite attacking players all season long.
Dono finished the regular season with 20 points, including 14 goals, before adding another 2 goals and 1 assist during the playoffs. His technical quality, creativity, and finishing ability made him one of the most dangerous players in the NFPL from opening weekend through Championship Weekend.
When FFA needed moments of quality, Dono consistently delivered them.
Ala
Nate Boos — Inter Detroit
The Golden Boot winner and emotional leader of Inter Detroit.
Boos led the league with 18 goals while also adding 6 assists, helping guide Inter Detroit to a Conference Final appearance. His four-goal performance against FFA in the postseason only reinforced what the regular season had already established — few players embraced pressure moments like he did.
Clinical in front of goal and fearless in big games, Boos was one of the defining players of the Midwest season.
Pivo
Ben Pritchard — Futsal Factory Academy
Balance, intelligence, and consistent production.
Pritchard recorded 16 regular season points, evenly split between goals and assists, before adding another goal during the playoffs. His movement and awareness consistently created opportunities for both himself and his teammates, while his versatility made him one of the division’s most complete attacking players.
A player capable of impacting matches in multiple ways, every single week.
Sixth Man
Edwin Gomez-Ruiz — Inter Detroit
One of the league’s most entertaining and unpredictable attacking players.
Gomez-Ruiz finished the regular season with 6 goals and 2 assists in just 6 matches before adding another assist during the playoffs. Whether scoring spectacular goals or unlocking defenses with creativity in transition, he consistently delivered moments capable of changing games instantly.
Dynamic, fearless, and technically exceptional, he brought a spark every time he stepped on the court.
Manager
Drew Ducker — Futsal Factory Academy
The architect behind the Midwest’s dominant force.
FFA’s 2025/26 campaign was defined by discipline, consistency, and identity — all reflections of Ducker’s leadership. Under his guidance, FFA finished unbeaten in regular season play, produced historic defensive numbers, and established themselves as one of the league’s premier teams.
The Midwest Division set an incredibly high standard throughout the 2025/26 season, and these selections reflect the players and leadership that shaped it most.
