California’s Best Recognized | 2025/26 California All-Conference Team Announced

The California Division brought a different kind of intensity to the 2025/26 NFPL season.

Week after week, matches were tight, competitive, and unpredictable, with playoff races and positioning often decided by the smallest of margins. By the end of the campaign, no division had produced more draws or more evenly matched battles between its top sides.

And when the season concluded, HBK Futsal emerged as inaugural California Conference champions.

Here is the official 2025/26 NFPL California All-Conference Team.

Goalkeeper

Edgar Pacheco — HBK Futsal

The foundation behind the division champions.

Pacheco anchored HBK throughout the season, helping his side finish with the best goal differential in the California Division while conceding 36 goals across the campaign. Athletic, reactive, and fearless in goal, he consistently delivered important saves in key moments as HBK navigated one of the league’s most competitive divisions.

His performances throughout both the regular season and playoffs helped establish HBK as the team to beat out west.

Fixo

Alexander Bedoya — HBK Futsal

The division’s most productive player.

Bedoya led the California Division in total points despite playing just 5 matches, recording 9 goals and 3 assists while averaging an incredible 2.4 points per game. Dynamic in transition and dangerous around goal, he consistently drove HBK forward throughout the regular season.

Whether creating chances or finishing them himself, Bedoya remained one of the division’s defining attacking players all season long.

Ala

Josue Galvez — Bay Area Footy

Bay Area’s attacking leader throughout the campaign.

Galvez finished the season with 6 goals in 5 matches, providing a consistent scoring threat for Bay Area Footy and earning recognition in the February Team of the Month along the way.

Direct and confident in front of goal, he remained one of the division’s most reliable attacking outlets throughout the season.

Ala

Edwin Munoz — ThreeSixty Sala

One of the California Division’s most dangerous attacking players.

Munoz recorded 8 goals and 2 assists in just 4 regular season matches, finishing third in the division in total points. His technical quality and ability to create moments out of nothing made him a constant threat every time he stepped on the court.

Few players in the division matched his explosiveness in the attacking half.

Pivo

Bernard Vareskic — HBK Futsal

The division’s most clinical finisher.

Vareskic led the California Division in goals during the regular season, scoring 11 times in 6 appearances while finishing second overall in total points. Strong, composed, and ruthless around goal, he consistently punished defenses throughout the season and added another goal during HBK’s playoff run.

A pure goalscorer, and one of the most decisive players in the division all year.

Sixth Man

Manuel Gaitan — ThreeSixty Sala

A steady and important contributor throughout the season.

Gaitan recorded 5 goals and 1 assist during the regular season before adding another goal during the playoffs, helping ThreeSixty remain competitive in every major matchup throughout the campaign.

Energetic, intelligent, and capable of impacting games on both sides of the ball, he played an important role in ThreeSixty’s run to the California Conference Final.

Manager

Miguel Medina — HBK Futsal

The manager who guided HBK to the inaugural California Conference title.

Under Medina’s leadership, HBK consistently found ways to navigate a tightly contested division filled with narrow margins and difficult matches. Organized, resilient, and balanced across the court, HBK ultimately separated themselves when the stakes became highest, winning the California Conference Final and advancing to Championship Weekend.

The California Division delivered balance, intensity, and quality throughout the 2025/26 campaign, and these selections recognize the players and leadership that defined it most.
