NFPL fans,

We have confirmed the seven teams that will compete in the NFPL this year. We welcome back Columbus Futsal, Cadence Futsal, Futsal Indy, and Joy Athletic. Mudpuppies Futsal and ABK both are back as well, under new names and ownership. Ann Arbor Mudpuppies Futsal are now Futsal Factory Academy while ABK is now Grand Rapids Ole.

New in 2021-22 is Ginga Futsal who are based out of Cincinnati.

You can find the league schedule at the link below.

Commissioner Drew "Ducks" Ducker commented about the upcoming season, saying, "We are really excited to have a full season again after a year and half of minimal activity. The Pandemic has not been easy for anyone, but we are working hard to help teams and the league continue to grow. In terms of teams, we are already looking at expanding into different areas for the 2022-2023 season. In the meantime, AFA Tryzub and Akron will take a one-year leave of absence for various reasons. However, we are hopeful both will return next year. With the winter season back in full swing and the Futsal World Cup recently finishing up, we hope to keep the Futsal momentum going as we kick off the season in December."

Be on the lookout for more NFPL news coming soon.
