In a tight, one-goal game, two second-half goals from Shelly Vargas turned a 1-goal game into a 3-goal game, securing all 3 points for the Grand Rapids OLé Women in their Matchweek 10 game against Columbus Futsal. 

Her first goal, an emphatic finish into the top right corner from the left wing, was particularly impressive as Vargas caught the eye of players, fans, and coaches for an all-action game that included not just goals, but distribution, ball movement, foot skills, and leadership. 

The win brings Grand Rapids OLé level on points with the Women's Division leaders Futsal Factory Academy and firmly puts one foot in the 2022/23 playoff picture.
