Matchweek 6 Midwest Player of the Week: Samy Omar (Capital Futsal)

Samy Omar has been named the Matchweek 6 Midwest Player of the Week after delivering the decisive moments in Capital Futsal’s 4–2 victory over MitWest Futsal Club.

With the match level deep into the second half, Omar provided the breakthrough Capital needed. After receiving a perfectly weighted pass from Storm Powers, Omar showed composure in tight space, maneuvering around the goalkeeper and calmly finishing to restore Capital’s lead. The goal proved to be the difference in a tightly contested matchup.

As MitWest committed numbers forward in search of an equalizer, Omar struck again late, positioning himself well for a simple tap-in after an unselfish assist from Lincoln Martinez. The second goal sealed the result and capped a performance defined by smart movement, patience, and execution in the match’s most important moments.

Omar’s ability to deliver under pressure and close out the game earned him Matchweek 6 Midwest Player of the Week honors.
