Bernard “Bernie” Vareskic has been named the California Player of the Week for Matchweek 4 after a standout attacking performance in HBK Futsal’s 3–3 draw with ThreeSixty Sala.

Vareskic scored two goals, showcasing both his movement off the ball and his ability to create chances independently. His first came through sharp positioning, finishing a perfectly weighted pass at the back post after Alexander Bedoya battled through pressure to set him up. The goal kept HBK firmly in the match as momentum swung back and forth.

His second goal was a moment of individual quality. Taking his defender on in a one-versus-one situation, Vareskic showed composure and confidence, driving into space before finishing cleanly into the bottom corner without an assist.
