Luis Loera has been named the NFPL Matchweek 2 Player of the Week following a dominant all-around performance in New Mexico Flagship Futsal Academy’s road victory over Santa Fe Gloom.

Loera delivered a complete midfield display, finishing the match with three goals and two assists as Flagship controlled the contest from start to finish in Santa Fe. His influence was evident on both sides of the ball, dictating tempo, breaking pressure, and consistently creating dangerous moments in the attacking half.

In a match that saw Flagship score early and often, Loera’s presence helped stabilize possession and sustain pressure throughout both halves. He found the net twice before halftime as Flagship built a commanding lead, then added an assist-driven late surge that put the match firmly out of reach. His composure in tight spaces and ability to connect play under pressure stood out against a determined Santa Fe side.
