Emerson Mena delivered exactly that for Inter Detroit in their dramatic 7–6 win over Capital Futsal.

From the opening moments, Mena made his presence felt in a way few goalkeepers ever do.

He started the game with a full-court throw that led directly to a goal, before scoring one of his own moments later — an incredible sequence that immediately put Inter Detroit on the front foot.

But it was his work later in the match that truly defined his performance.

As Capital Futsal pushed relentlessly for an equalizer, Mena stood tall — making multiple key saves down the stretch, including a crucial penalty stop, to preserve Inter’s lead in the closing moments.
