Honde leads HBK with dominant five-point performance

HBK’s Paola Honde earns Women’s Matchweek 11 Player of the Week honors after a standout performance in HBK’s 8–3 road victory over Bay Area Footy.

Honde played a central role in HBK’s attack, finishing the match with three goals and two assists in a commanding five-point performance.

HBK came out flying in the first half, building a 6–1 lead by halftime, and Honde was instrumental in driving that momentum. Her movement in attack consistently created problems for the Bay Area defense, and she showed excellent composure in front of goal to convert multiple chances while also creating opportunities for teammates.

In addition to her goals, Honde’s vision and passing helped unlock the Bay Area defense, contributing two assists as HBK maintained control of the match from start to finish.

Her performance helped secure an important win for HBK and showcased the attacking quality that continues to make them a dangerous side in the California Division.
