Santa Fe Gloom’s Andrés Monge has been named the NFPL February Goal of the Month winner, earning the honor after fan voting concluded following a 48-hour voting period.

Monge’s goal stood out among a strong group of nominees thanks to the quality of the build-up and the clinical finish that capped the move. The play began with a clever backheel that helped spring a quick counterattack, followed by sharp one-touch passing that sliced through the defense. As the ball worked its way into the attacking third, Monge found space and calmly finished from a tight angle to complete one of the best team goals of the season.

The combination of creativity, unselfish play, and precision finishing made the goal a clear favorite among fans, who selected Monge’s strike as the best goal scored across the league during the month of February.
