February was a defining month in the NFPL Southwest Division. BRUSA Futsal Club continued their undefeated run and established themselves as the team to beat, while Santa Fe Gloom and New Mexico Flagship fought to keep the race for second place competitive.

Goalkeeper
Daniel Renteria — Santa Fe Gloom
Daniel Renteria has firmly established himself as Santa Fe Gloom’s starting goalkeeper after a strong run of performances throughout February.
Renteria earned Southwest Player of the Week honors in Matchweek 8, recording an assist in a major win over New Mexico Flagship FC while also making several key saves. His presence in goal has helped Santa Fe remain competitive defensively and maintain their position in the battle for second place in the division.
Fixo
Eduardo Medina — BRUSA Futsal Club
Few players had a bigger impact on the Southwest Division in February than Eduardo Medina.
The BRUSA playmaker leads the league in total points and delivered an extraordinary creative month. In five February matches, Medina recorded 9 assists and 4 goals, totaling 13 points while helping BRUSA go a perfect 5–0.
His vision, passing range, and ability to control the tempo of the game have made him one of the most influential players in the league.

Pedro Torres — Santa Fe Gloom
Santa Fe captain Pedro Torres continues to lead by example.
Across four matches in February, Torres recorded 5 goals and 5 assists, consistently driving Santa Fe’s attack while also dictating the tempo of the game. Whether creating chances for teammates or finishing opportunities himself, Torres has been instrumental in keeping SFG competitive in the Southwest race.

Yan Brandao — BRUSA Futsal Club
Yan Brandao delivered one of the most explosive attacking months in the league.
The BRUSA winger recorded 9 goals and 7 assists in five February matches for a remarkable 16 total points, including a Matchweek 9 Player of the Week performance.
Brandao’s ability to both score and create makes him one of the most dangerous attacking players in the NFPL.

Kaue Martins — BRUSA Futsal Club
BRUSA captain Kaue Martins continues to prove himself as one of the league’s elite finishers.
Across five matches in February, Martins scored 10 goals and added 1 assist, totaling 11 points. His movement, positioning, and composure in front of goal have made him a constant scoring threat and a central figure in BRUSA’s undefeated run.

Christopher Santos — New Mexico Flagship FC
Christopher Santos has been one of the most reliable performers for New Mexico Flagship FC.
Santos recorded 5 goals and 2 assists in February, registering at least one point in every game. His consistent performances have provided stability for Flagship and helped keep them competitive in the division standings.
Manager of the Month
Kaue Martins — BRUSA Futsal Club
Kaue Martins earns February’s Manager of the Month honors while also delivering elite performances on the court.
Under his leadership, BRUSA went 5–0 in February, remaining undefeated on the season and establishing themselves as the clear favorites in the Southwest Division.
The defending champions have shown their ability to win in multiple ways — dominating matches from start to finish, producing impressive comebacks, and combining brilliant team play with moments of individual quality.
With the season progressing, BRUSA look well positioned to defend their NFPL championship title.
