February 2026 California Team of the Month

February was the busiest stretch of the season so far for the NFPL California Division, with several high-scoring matches and key results shaping the early standings.

HBK Futsal emerged as the division leaders after an impressive run of performances, while Bay Area Footy and ThreeSixty Sala both produced standout individual contributions that kept the competition competitive.

Here is the California Team of the Month for February.

Goalkeeper

Edgar Pacheco — HBK Futsal

Edgar Pacheco played a major role in HBK’s strong month in goal.

HBK played three matches in February, recording two wins and a draw. Pacheco delivered a standout defensive performance in a 12–0 victory over Anthem Futsal, and he followed that up with another strong showing in the rematch, allowing five goals but shutting out Anthem entirely in the second half.

He also helped HBK secure a 6–6 draw against ThreeSixty Sala, contributing to a month that solidified HBK’s position at the top of the division.

Gabriel Silveira — HBK Futsal

Gabriel Silveira continued his excellent season with another productive month.

The Matchweek 7 Player of the Week recorded 4 goals and 4 assists in two matches during February, including a three-goal performance in one game and a three-assist outing in another.

Silveira’s ability to control the game from deep positions while still contributing offensively makes him one of the most complete players in the division.

Josue Galvez — Bay Area Footy

Josue Galvez continues to be Bay Area Footy’s primary attacking threat.

Galvez scored 3 goals in February, delivering a standout performance that helped keep Bay Area competitive in the division standings. By the end of the month, he led the club in both total goals and points.

Manuel Gaitan — ThreeSixty Sala

Manuel Gaitan delivered a strong attacking month for ThreeSixty Sala.

Across two matches in February, Gaitan recorded 4 goals and 1 assist for 5 total points, providing consistent attacking output and helping ThreeSixty remain competitive in several high-scoring matches.

Pivo

Bernard “Bernie” Vareskic — HBK Futsal

Bernard Vareskic continues to be one of the most dangerous finishers in the California Division.

The Matchweek 9 Player of the Week scored 6 goals in three February matches, leading the division in total goals and ranking second overall in total points.

His ability to consistently find space and finish chances has been a major factor in HBK’s rise to the top of the standings.

Sixth Man

Edwin Muñoz — ThreeSixty Sala

Edwin Muñoz delivered one of the most impactful individual performances of the month.

In a key match against HBK, Muñoz recorded 1 goal and 2 assists, finishing the month with 3 total points in a single appearance. By the end of February, he also leads the California Division in total points and ranks second in goals scored.

Manager of the Month

Victor Miramontes — HBK Futsal

Victor Miramontes guided HBK through a strong February run that firmly established them as the team to beat in California.

HBK finished the month 3–0, and they now lead the division with a +18 goal differential, far ahead of the next closest team. Their attacking depth and defensive organization have been key factors in their success.

As the season progresses, HBK look poised to remain the standard in the California Division.
