2025/26 Preseason Profile: Los Yunaites FC Makes Their NFPL Debut

A new contender has arrived in the National Futsal Premier League — and they’re ready to make their mark.

Los Yunaites FC, founded in Mesa, Arizona, joins the NFPL for the 2025/26 season, bringing a blend of professionalism, creativity, and community spirit to the Southwest Division. What started as a local project with a passion for futsal has quickly evolved into one of Arizona’s most exciting clubs to watch.

From their early days competing in local leagues and tournaments, Los Yunaites earned recognition for their fast-paced, technical style and a roster built from diverse soccer backgrounds — including collegiate, semi-pro, and international experience. Now, stepping onto the NFPL stage marks a major milestone for both the team and the growing futsal community in the Valley.

“We’re ready to make our mark in the NFPL and show what Arizona futsal is all about — energy, creativity, and heart,” said Angel Benigno of Los Yunaites FC. “This season is more than competition; it’s a statement that Los Yunaites belongs among the nation’s best.”

Led by Coach Anyerbert J. Díaz, the club’s focus extends beyond competition. Development, discipline, and community are at the core of their mission — inspiring the next generation of futsal players and creating opportunities for growth within Arizona’s vibrant futsal scene.

With a talented squad featuring Zainalabdeen Lateef, Jose Cisneros, Raul Canelo, and Eduardo Castellanos, Los Yunaites FC will look to bring their high-energy game to every match this season.
