2025/26 Preseason Profile: BRUSA FC Aims for Back-to-Back Titles

The stage is set for another thrilling National Futsal Premier League season — and at the heart of the action is BRUSA FC, the reigning champions ready to defend their title in 2025/26.
Formerly known as Phoenix Brazas FC, BRUSA’s story is rooted in the fusion of Brazilian and American futsal culture — even their name, a combination of “BR” (Brazil) and “USA,” reflects that connection. The club’s mission has always been clear: to develop true futsal players, create real opportunities for local athletes to compete at home and abroad, and help grow the sport across the United States.
“We’re excited for the upcoming season — it’s shaping up to be one of the toughest yet. Every club is raising the bar, and so are we,” said Kaue Martins, BRUSA FC Owner.
That competitive mindset is what’s kept BRUSA FC at the top. Known for their technical precision, quick transitions, and trademark Brazilian flair, the club has established itself as one of the most respected names in American futsal. As investment and competition continue to rise across the league, BRUSA remains focused on evolving and building for the long term.
Returning players Kaue Martins, Jared Wilson, and Christian Lima will once again anchor the squad — bringing leadership, chemistry, and championship experience to the floor. With more clubs than ever challenging for the Southwest crown, BRUSA knows repeating won’t be easy — but they wouldn’t have it any other way.
Fans can follow BRUSA FC’s journey throughout the season on Instagram and Facebook, and stay tuned to the NFPL Southwest Division for more preseason profiles and updates as we count down to kickoff.
