2025/26 Preseason Profile: Bay Area Footy PD Brings Community, Pathways, and Purpose Into the NFPL

Bay Area Footy Player Development joins the National Futsal Premier League for the 2025/26 season with a mission rooted in community, opportunity, and long-term player growth. Founded in 2017, the club has spent nearly a decade developing a culture where dedication, teamwork, and inspiration guide everything they do. Now, with both men’s and women’s teams making their NFPL debut, Bay Area Footy is ready to represent the Bay Area on the national stage.
As a fully player-centered organization, Bay Area Footy’s purpose has always been to create pathways for athletes of all backgrounds. Their programs emphasize technical development, mentorship, and the belief that futsal can open doors at every level — from youth foundations to elite competition. The club’s presence across the Bay Area reflects this commitment, with training environments designed to help players dream bigger and aim higher.
This year marks a major milestone for the club as they enter the NFPL for the first time.
“We’re excited to represent the Bay Area, build something special with our community, and continue growing the beautiful game of futsal together. Joining the NFPL allows us to show our players what dedication, passion, and teamwork can achieve — and we couldn’t be happier to take this step forward.” — Head Coach Robert Arroyo Hernandez
Both the men’s and women’s squads will represent Bay Area Footy in the NFPL, advancing the club’s mission of creating equal opportunities and showcasing local talent at the highest level of competition. With a strong focus on development and leadership from Arroyo Hernandez, Bay Area Footy PD enters the league with a grounded identity and a vision for long-term competitive success.
The club’s rapid growth, community-driven philosophy, and dedication to player development make them one of the most compelling new additions to the California Division — and a team with the potential to influence the futsal landscape across the region.
