Matchweek 1 Review: Flagship Claim Rivalry Victory

MATCHWEEK 1 REVIEW:
NM Flagship FC Win the 2024/25 Season Opener against In-State Rivals Santa Fe Gloom

New Mexico Flagship FC dominated with a strong second half performance, led by 4 goals from NFPL newcomer Christopher Santos. 

Santa Fe Gloom were down 4-1 at one point but fought back well from to go into halftime down a single goal at 6-5. A flurry of 3 quick goals in less than a minute turned a close game into a large lead to protect for New Mexico Flagship as they pulled ahead 10-6 about midway through the second half. 

Santa Fe Gloom would add two consolation goals with under a minute to play and the game already lost.
