Matchweek 3 brings NFPL fans a first look at newcomers Santa Fe Gloom as they open up the 23/24 season in the Southwest Conference against Colorado Futsal Academy! 

Santa Fe Gloom (H) vs. Colorado Futsal Academy (A)

League newcomers Santa Fe Gloom play their first game in front of their home fans this Saturday in Matchweek 3, hosting Colorado Futsal Factory. 

Although we have yet to see Santa Fe in action, they boast a significant amount of semi-professional experience as well as Jesus Garcia who played for Colorado Futsal Academy for several years. Colorado Futsal Academy came on strong toward the end of last season and have high expectations for this season, bringing up an exciting crop of younger academy players that they hope will increase their intensity and fitness levels. 

So, we've got some personal connections and history between the two teams and our first look at the newest team in the National Futsal Premier League - what more could you ask for to kick off the Southwest Conference?
