Matchweek 12 features two excellent games on the slate, as the top two teams in the Midwest face off in a midseason rematch of Matchweek 1. In the Southwest, we've got a third matchup for these two teams in 8 days! 

Grand Rapids OLé (H) VS. Detroit Imperial Futsal (A)

Grand Rapids OLé and Detroit Imperial Futsal face off in a top-of-the-table clash, a rematch from the season-opening game in which OLé won 6-2 in Grand Rapids. 

Get ready for a great game here. With Grand Rapids coming off their first loss of the season and back in front of their home fans, they'll have plenty to prove against Detroit Imperial, a team that lost in the first matchup although they were missing several key players. 

The last time OLé lost at home was back in March 2023, but Detroit Imperial might be smelling blood in the water and a chance to narrow the gap at the top of the division.

BRUSA FC (H) VS. Colorado Futsal Academy (A)

It was just a week or two ago in Matchweek 10 that BRUSA FC made the trip up to Denver to take on Colorado Futsal Academy twice in one weekend. They dropped both games, propelling Colorado to the top of the standings in the Southwest and sending BRUSA sinking into the depths, sitting on just 3 points after 4 games. 

BRUSA need a statement win at home this weekend in front of the home fans, not just to knock the leaders down a peg but to reignite their season. The defending champions still boast some of the league's best attacking talents, although they'll need to keep out a high-flying Colorado team that leads the league in goal differential. 

 Can BRUSA pull off a big win at home, or will Colorado Futsal Academy cement their place at the top of the Southwest? Let's see what happens Saturday night!

Matchweek 12 looks juicy! Even at the bottom of the table, BRUSA still have it all to play for having several games left. Detroit Imperial will be in the same position, with only half the season played and a 5 point gap to make up against OLé.
