A busy Matchweek 8 awaits the National Futsal Premier League and its fans, with 6 total games: 1 in the Women's Division and 5 in the Men's Division across every conference. 

Women's Division

Futsal Factory Academy (H) vs. Futsal Indy (A)

The Futsal Indy Women's team will travel to Michigan for the second weekend in a row to take on league-leading Ladies of Futsal Factory Academy. This is a rescheduled match from earlier in the season, and unfortunately for the visitors, the outlook looks even bleaker than it was earlier on.

Futsal Factory Academy will be looking to bounce back from a loss on the road to their in-state rivals Grand Rapids OLé in Matchweek 6, while Futsal Indy continue to hunt for their first win of the season.

Men's Division

Columbus Futsal (H) vs. Cadence SFC (A)

The Men's Columbus Futsal side currently sit 2nd in a competitive Great Lakes Conference, while Cadence SFC sit 3rd in a top-heavy Midwest Conference. Cadence SFC have historically put trust in young players on the court, and they'll be going up against a physical, fast, tactically-astute Columbus team that have a playoff spot in their sites. 

Columbus Futsal remain undefeated in their conference season, while Cadence SFC desperately need some points if they hope to challenge for a playoff berth.

Ginga Futsal (H) VS. Futsal Indy (A)

We have another cross-conference matchup in Matchweek 8, with Futsal Indy making the short trip east to take on Ginga Futsal in Cincinnati. 

Ginga Futsal currently sit on 1 point at the bottom of the Great Lakes Conference, while Futsal Indy are winless at the bottom of the Midwest Conference. 

This will be an opportunity for both teams, with both needing to pick up points. A win would put Ginga Futsal ahead of Futsal Factory Academy in their conference, who have a tough matchup against the leaders of the Midwest in FC Tryzub.

Futsal Factory Academy (H) VS. FC Tryzub (A)

It's been many years since these two teams last met - a 2019 pre-pandemic NFPL playoffs matchup that resulted in Futsal Factory Academy triumphing over the visiting FC Tryzub. 

Much has changed with these two teams, and on current form FC Tryzub look to be the best or second-best team in the league. Futsal Factory Academy will have their work cut out for them, and they'll be hoping that their team can come into the game at full fitness - they'll need it to keep up with a fluid, high-scoring Tryzub team.

Brusa FC (H) VS. New MExico Flagship FC (A)

Another week, another debutant in the NFPL Southwest Conference! Brusa FC will have their home opener and will welcome the visiting New Mexico Flagship FC. Brusa FC are fresh off a wild come-from-behind draw at Columbus Futsal Academy and will be looking forward to welcoming New Mexico Flagship FC to the league.

This should be a great game, and we really have no idea what's going to happen!

Ginga Futsal (H) VS. Cadence SFC (A)

With both teams playing twice in Matchweek 8, they've got twice the opportunity to play catch up and make up the ground they need to get into playoffs. This will be a tough road trip for Cadence SFC as neither of the Ohio teams in the Great Lakes Conference are bad, and winning on the road is tough in this league.

 Let's see what happens as Ginga Futsal take on Cadence SFC in Cincinnati to wrap up Matchweek 8.
