NFPL Matchweek 16 Preview

by NFPL

With the regular season complete for the Midwest and Great Lakes divisions, we're down to just one regular season match per week for the next three weeks in the Southwest Division.

Colorado Futsal Academy (H) vs. New Mexico Flagship FC (A)

The season is on the line for both of these teams. A win for New Mexico Flagship FC on the road in Matchweek 16 against Colorado Futsal Academy would give them confidence heading into their final home game of the season on the 22nd, a reverse fixture played in New Mexico against Colorado Futsal Academy.

If New Mexico Flagship FC take four points out of their final six available, they'll be tied with Brusa FC for first place in the Southwest and the winner will most likely be decided by goal differential. If Flagship can win out, they'll take sole possession of first place.

On the other hand, Colorado Futsal Academy have three games remaining and just one point gained so far. While they can't win the league, they have a chance to battle with Flagship for a possible second-place finish.

There's plenty on the line in this game!
