2022/23 ALL-NFPL WomEN'S FIRST TEAM

The inaugural NFPL Women's Division was highly competitive and had some incredibly talented players from every team.

GOALKEEPER: Cayla Coleman

Winner of the 2022/23 NFPL Golden GloveCayla Coleman stepped into big shoes at Columbus Futsal Club and was found more than up to the challenge. Through the 2022/23 season, perhaps no other team in the NFPL in any division or conference improved as much as the Columbus Futsal Women's squad and much of that is due to Coleman's strength and composure at the back.

FIXO: Citlali Luna

Citlali Luna led her team in Player of the Game votes and was also voted MVP of the Championship game, capping off a magnificent regular season in which she dictated play for the eventual champions Grand Rapids OLé. She scored 8 goals and assisted 1 in 6 games this season, averaging 1.5 points per game en route to the 2022/23 NFPL Golden Boot award.

ALA: Nicole Grimaldo

Nicole Grimaldo was voted the league's best player this season and won the 2022/23 NFPL Golden Ball award in a dominant campaign for Futsal Factory. Grimaldo led the league in total points, scoring 6 goals and assisting 8 in the regular season.

ALA: Beanie Harshe

Top scorer for the Women's Division with 9 goals, Beanie Harshe led the line for Futsal Factory, adding another 2 goals and an assist in the Championship game against Grand Rapids OLé. She finished the season at 5th in total points, scoring 9 and assisting 2 in 6 games.

PIVO: Khloe Koelling

Khloe Koelling stepped up in the big games when Grand Rapids OLé needed her most. A brilliant four goals in the opening week against Futsal Factory was topped only by a decisive goal in the victory over the same foe in the Championship game. Koelling finished the season with 7 goals and 4 assists in the regular season and playoffs, leading the team in total points and points per game.

6TH: SHelly Vargas

Shelly Vargas was a pivotal player for Grand Rapids OLé, popping up with 5 goals and 1 assist in the regular season and capping off her campaign with a brilliant 1-goal 1-assist performance in the 2022/23 Championship win over Futsal Factory.

Manager: Fabian Rodriguez

Fabian Rodriguez led the Grand Rapids OLé Women to the inaugural Women's Division Championship, vanquishing the old foe Futsal Factory in the deciding match and ending the season on a 6-game win streak. Their only loss had been to Futsal Factory on the road in the first week of the season. Just like his Men's team, Rodriguez's squad let in the fewest goals all season. As they say, defense wins championships.
