FFA Demolish Cadence, Flagship Big Win over BRUSA
Futsal Factory Academy 18-2 Cadence SFC
A lopsided affair in Canton, Michigan took place in Matchweek 15 asFutsal Factory Academysteamrolled Cadence SFC en route to a big victory. The win puts Futsal Factory Academy in control of their own destiny in the fight for a playoff spot out of the Midwest.
When Cadence SFC showed up with just one sub, it was never going to be close. From the jump, the home side were all over them. It was 5-0 before you could blink, and 11-1 at the half. There was no chance, no coming back from the visitors.
With 8 goals and 5 assists between Gui Ramos, Thomas Dono, and Ben Pritchard, Futsal Factory put the game well out of reach and will already have their eyes on a big Matchweek 16 matchup against Detroit Imperial Futsal.
New Mexico Flagship FC 5-3 BRUSA FC
A huge win at home for New Mexico Flagship FC sees them put BRUSA Futsal Club in sole possession of last place in the Southwest.
It's been a challenging season for the defending champions of the Southwest, compounded by this Matchweek 15 loss to third-placed New Mexico Flagship FC.
They'll have an opportunity at immediate redemption as both clubs play in Matchweek 16 on BRUSA's home court. We'll see if BRUSA can mount an unlikely push back into the playoff conversation as the other two teams in the Southwest square off in Matchweek 16.
A LOOK AT THE TABLE AFTER MATCHWEEK 15:
Four wins on the trot for Futsal Factory Academy! They are the league's most in-form team right now and will hit the road to take on Detroit Imperial Futsal in Matchweek 16.
In the Southwest, it's bleak for BRUSA FC but despite being in last place, mathematically they aren't out of the conversation! They'll need to win their remaining games and hope other results go their way, but it's still an incredibly tight division from top to bottom.
